The Path to 9/11
The Democrats are showing their true feelings about free speech in their blatant attempt to coerce ABC and Disney into pulling the docudrama The Path to 9/11 that is set to air Sunday 9/10 and Monday 9/11. But wait, do I hear the ACLU shouting about Constitutional rights? Hellooooo… is anybody out there? Check out The Path to 9/11 website and call ABC. Encourage them to stand up for their First Amendment rights.
The most priceless statements over the weekend came from Bill Clinton who wanted ABC to “just tell the truth.” The NY Post reported that Clinton has written to ABC’s brass: “The content of this drama is factually and incontrovertibly inaccurate and ABC has the duty to fully correct all errors or pull the drama entirely.”
Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright described one scene as “false and defamatory” and former national-security adviser Sandy Berger — last seen trying to sneak classified documents out of the National Archives — said the show “flagrantly misrepresents my personal actions.”
Burgler is the closest thing in the film to a villain who isn’t an actual terrorist. In one scene, a group of military operatives surrounds bin Laden in his remote Afghan compound. “Do we have clearance to load the package?” asks an American who is leading them. Berger refuses to give it — he simply flicks off his video-conferencing camera — and a remarkable opportunity to snatch or kill bin Laden slips away. (John J. Miller, “Blacklisting ABC” 9/8/06)
The Clintonistas are in an uproar over this series which will uncover their witless complicity in allowing 9/11 to happen. They hate the fact that it directs most of the blame for the disaster on someone other than President Bush. Yet they saw no problem with Michael Moore’s scandalous screed F --- 911 giving the fat boy the seat of honor at the 2004 Democratic Convention.
Well the agenda is out for the upcoming Demo convention. Take a look.

You gave gone too far on this. I'm sure many Democrats and liberals lost their lives on 9-11 and you are making a mockery of their tradegy. To state your opinion is one thing ... your humor is not funny on such a sad occasion
Anonymous,
Sorry, but this is Hillaryious.
The Democrat's tragedy is their incessant opposition for the sake of regaining power, at the expense of America.
Do you think the insurgency in Iraq would continue if America appeared united? They know they cannot win militarily, but believe if they can break our will at home, we will eventually leave.
They watch CNN and see the Democrats behavior. Though it may not be Democrat's intention, they are giving the enemy the hope they can outlast us.
Democrats hide behind their freedom to dissent the way Hezbollah hides behind woman and children. Their constant harping viewed through the lense of the Middle East is viewed as weakness, and a sign they are winning in the court of public opinion.
So if they (Democrats) would simply shut the hell up and be Americans first, and then Democrats, we could have this thing wrapped up by 2008.
But that doesn't quence their thirst for power.
"Do you think the insurgency in Iraq would continue if America appeared united?" Oh I get it. It is criticism of the war that's caused us to lose it, no the incompetence of the Bush administration or Sec Rumsfeld's lack of post-war planning. Wow. That is completely insane and goes against everything we now know about the incompetent handling of post war hostilities. President Bush says we are fighting Islamofascism. I'd say the actual fight is at home, where if you don't walk in lock-step with the conservatives in power, if you actually exercise your right of free speech, you are a traitor. That is the very definition of fascism and authoritarianism.

"Democrats hide behind their freedom to dissent the way Hezbollah hides behind woman and children."
Again, the conservative linking of liberals with terrorists is really getting pernicious. Questioning the patriotism of millions of Americans who are rightly critical of the Iraq War has simply got to stop. Being united in "Stay the Course" rhetoric will not lead to victory in Iraq. Silly slogans which reveal an appalling lack knowledge about the war are not substitutes for real debate about what is to be done in Iraq. Whether you like it or not, the occupation of Iraq is not going well. The idea that if we were all united around "Stay the course" that we would be victorious is a shocking display of ignorance. Unfortunately, that is what passes for political discourse from the right wing. We probably will not be able to achieve our original objectives of liberal democracy in Iraq, but we can minimize loss of life. That is what we should be discussing, our principled disagreements, not the tired old jingoistic phrases.
To a leftist, here is the path to 9/11:
1. The dunce Bush planned and executed it, even to this day without a
leak.
2. Bush has taken his eye off the ball in going into Iraq

Thanks Greg.
I wonder why all these who are shouting so loud did not shout as loudly at Michael Moore and his propaganda!! Clinton among them!
Helen
Good Blog!! My sentiments entirely. They can't stand the truth, can they?
Prim
I was hoping you would do this.. It makes me so pi**ed off to hear those miserable excuses for human beings do this.. The story just tells the truth!!!! They can whine all they want to, my opinion is that it is all slick Willies fault. If he had kept his mind on business instead of his pants unzipped under the table, things might have been different. Of course I am sure that will turn out to be President Bushes fault..
OK I have finished ranting. Have a great evening!!
Rose
Thanks Rose!
